Client: Ballistic Architecture Machine (BAM)

Although the Chinese name of BAM 百安木 (bǎi-ān-mù) was chosen purely on phonetic grounds, it made us think of a 'hundred years safe wood’, a column. Conveniently using this coincidence, the book grid was constructed of columns which we chose to make visible throughout, in a pastel shade of neon orange. The columns move rhythmically as they try to keep up with the multitude of architecture projects portrayed in this 520 page portfolio whopper.

建筑工作室的中文名字「百安木」 让我们想到了「百年/安全/木柱」。正好呼应书的网格是由 「柱」 构成的，我们选择让这些 「柱」 在整个书中浮现在最上层。符合品牌气质的霓虹橙色，有节奏的排版，精致的装帧细节，构成了这本 520 页的作品集。
